A place to feel seen, supported, and understood.
Exhaustion, sadness, isolation, anxiety, grief.
These heavy emotions often coexist with the profound joy of motherhood and the excitement of every new "first." You are not alone in carrying both.
Pregnancy is a beautiful season, but it can also bring deep fear and anxiety. Whether it is your first baby or your fourth, the postpartum period brings unique, unexpected challenges:
Physical and emotional recovery after birth
The heavy loneliness of late-night feedings
The constant guilt of feeling like you are "not enough"
The identity shift of learning who you are now, while mourning the person you used to be
Take a deep breath. You can lay it all down here.
At Nido de Luz Counseling, our hope is that you can leave the many hats you wear at the door. The moment you step into the Nido, the weight is lifted. You do not have to walk this path alone—here, you will be deeply supported, heard, and encouraged.

Nido de Luz Meaning
Nido (nee-doh) means nest.
Luz (loos)means light.
Nido de Luz reflects the kind of space we hope to create — one that feels safe enough to rest, honest enough to be yourself, and hopeful enough to imagine what comes next.
Life doesn't always follow the path we expected. Sometimes we need a place to pause, process what we've been through, and find our way forward.
Nido de Luz Counseling is rooted in compassion, hope, and the belief that every person deserves to be met with dignity and care.
What Therapy Looks Like
Begin where you are
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy begins with meeting you where you are.
Explore what you're experiencing
Together, you'll have space to understand your experiences, emotions, relationships, and goals.
Move toward what matters
Therapy can help you develop greater clarity, self-understanding, and practical ways to move forward.
Counseling in English & Spanish
Nido de Luz Counseling offers telehealth counseling throughout Texas in both English and Spanish.
Whether you're more comfortable expressing yourself in English, Spanish, or a combination of both, you deserve a space where you can communicate openly and authentically.
You don't have to know exactly where to begin.
Taking the first step can be as simple as reaching out.
If you're ready to explore whether therapy with Nido de Luz Counseling may be a good fit, Jessica would be happy to connect.
